Introduction

To start this blog I want to introduce myself in a frist step.
I grew up in Lungern, a small town in Switzerland. Ever since I know I loved to hear the stories of my ancestors told in our family. I did a lot genealogy research and yet nothing excited me more than a story. In my town a lot of people emigrated to other countries, especially the US, and nearly everbody has someone in another country. So I grew up about knowing all those stories of emigrating to other countries.
When I lived in Australia and the US I met many people who had ancestors in my country. Like my sons family who is living in the US and emigrated from Europe. I loved and still love to share stories about those who emigrated, their circumstances and why they did.
Why I started this blog and many more I will post soon.
